Agribusiness is one sector that will drive many African economies in the next 3-5 decades. With Africa being a net importer of food, millions of unemployed youth and growing populations, the agriculture sector offers great prospects for commercialisation and modernisation while creating millions of jobs and incomes in the process. It is no wonder that it continues to attract great interest from donors like USAID, investors such as Aliko Dangote, governments and agri-entrepreneurs. CSOs such as Mully Childrens Family have proved that the sector can be a profitable social enterprise and support the organisations mission. Join us as we seek fortunes in agri business. The session will enlighten you on the opportunities and challenges as well as how you can establish your own agri business. Kenya Climate Innovation Centre offers incubation, capacity building and financing options to new, small and medium business ventures and Kenyan entrepreneurs that are developing innovations to address the challenges of climate change.
