Invitation: Broadening the Net: Working With Corporations!

April 1, 2021

We hope you are well and still keeping safe.

Corporations are emerging an important and exciting donor in the 21st Century. This is more so in the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) era where they are considered as critical partners. They have been at the forefront of fighting Covid through initiatives such as the Covid-19 Fund in Kenya. In reality, corporations are different from the donors that we are used to. For example, they hate large proposals and will often be interested in what is in it for them even where they do not admit it.  In short, they are a different kettle of fish from the traditional donors. Join us for the April Coffee Talk, this session will take you through the ABC’s of exploiting opportunities from corporations in this Covid-19 era. It is one session that will leave you yearning for more.

Coffee Talk are interactive monthly meetings giving you the opportunity to be inspired, inject new ideas to your cause and profession and offer you inspirational experiences to successfully achieve your ideal goals. The meetings are attended by members of the association and individuals with interests in resource mobilization who are committed to change and development in their communities. Kenya Association of Fundraising Professionals  is a not- for- profit voluntary membership association that serves as an umbrella organization for fundraisers.  Our main purpose is “to encourage individuals and organisations  involved in fundraising and resource mobilisation to adopt and promote high standards of ethical practice and inject professionalism”.
